You may have already read the first two books in Dr. Rose’s ‘The Tales of Banjo and the Superhero Dentist’ series. We’re happy to announce that the third book in this delightful series is now live and available, via the Amazon platform, in both eBook and paperback formats!
The Tales of Banjo and the Superhero Dentist is a series of books for kids aimed at creating a light-hearted picture of what to expect from most things dental-related. The playful and friendly explanations provide a general understanding, and build excitement in kids as they learn to take care of their own oral-health and anticipate their first visit.
In the first book, ‘Excited Banjo Meets the Superhero Dentist’, readers are introduced to the awesome characters that aim to (in a fun way) bring information to children regarding dental procedures, dental equipment, how to prepare for a first visit, and what to expect after.
In the second book, ‘Where the Sugar Bugs Are’, Banjo travels in a dream-state to Mouth Valley, where he meets the Sugar Bugs face to face. Before this dream he thought it would be okay to miss a brush and floss, but after having met the dreaded bugs he realizes just how important dental-care is.
In this new story titled ‘Banjo Has A Loose Tooth’ - the third book in the series - Banjo has a wiggly tooth that won’t come out. But Mama knows the Superhero Dentist can help. At the dental office, Banjo remembers the stories his human friends from around the world told him about what they did with their baby-teeth once they’d wiggled out. Before he knows it, his wiggly tooth is removed by the Superhero Dentist, and Banjo knows just what to do with it!
With stunning, bright, illustrations this easy-to-read tale is sure to help kids through their first experience, when it comes to losing their first wiggly tooth!

Good morning, all! Today is the first Thursday in this new month of April, 2020, and we have something exciting to share with you! Being home in lock-down can be an internal struggle for many, but those who have an imagination and make use of their creativity in order to get through life are utilizing this time to come-up with new inventions, new online businesses, and new stories to tell (among many other things).
What we do know at the moment is that although the pandemic is not good, it has given the planet a chance to breathe by keeping everyone at home, thereby lessening the amount of pollution being ejected into the atmosphere. So, while this may be bad for people, the rest of nature is thriving more now than it has in a very long time. Humans need to see this, and understand that the more minimally they live the better the chances are of the planet itself surviving. That is how life works, as you know; a fine balance between survival and the ability to really thrive.
Well, what we've decided to do today is open the floor to all of you! What we want to know is what you see for the future of humanity! Yes, it's your turn to have your say! Think about it all for a day or two then send me (via my page here) a short story between 250 and 500-words about your vision for the future!
Use your imagination - make use of sci-fi or fantasy, or even practice your skills at being an investigative journalist! Tell your story however you feel fit! Rose and I will read through each story sent to us, and then choose one that really makes us feel good. After all, there is a lot of 'not-so-good-feeling' info around at the moment, we would love the opportunity to be inspired and smile. You have the power to do this, you know! You can be a superhero in times of darkness - it all depends on your attitude. Are you drowning in the problem or are you part of the solution?
